For this reason, it is important to assess memory functioning at the earliest possible time, when available treatments are the most effective.

The Memory Care Clinic at Ozarks Community Hospital offers assessment, treatment and intervention by a multidisciplinary team of experts. Other program benefits include:

The focus of the Memory Care Clinic is to assess memory functioning and recommend necessary treatment. To adequately diagnose patients, our team of experts follow a schedule with each patient that includes the following:

  • First Visit - Initial assessment with social worker
  • Second Visit - Appointment with specialists in Geriatrics and/or Neurology for patients with memory loss, cognitive decline, etc.
  • Third Visit - Testing of memory functions and cognitive abilities
  • Results & Recommendations - Follow up with specialists to review results of testing and further treatment recommendations.
